About
We at Raahi, The Heritage Walk Society of Miranda House, strive to explore lesser-known stories about popular heritage sites by travelling new paths, discovering new narratives and presenting the surroundings through a new lens. The walks organized by Raahi revolve around ancient ruins, sprawling bazaars, famous and lesser-known monuments, shrines, temples, food cultures, artforms, popular narratives, myths and all sorts of architectural marvels. Our journey began in 2016 and since then we have expanded from a Delhi based Heritage Walk society to one that has spread its wings across the country. The society is managed by the History Department of Miranda House. The members (Hons students) conduct free, weekly heritage walks. Due to the pandemic, we have been working in the virtual mode, thereby continuing our adventures without any halt. Raahi is home to all wanderers and learners alike, we, therefore, welcome you home! Join us every week on new journeys and new destinations. We await you!
