Purho is a new player in the made in Italy design industry, the brand has been created by Andrea Dotto and Roberto Fracassetti, through a job of synthesis, and a research that has lasted several years: the collections are theme-based, and they have been developed by affirmed and new talented designers, and rigorously made in Italy.
With an Italian soul and an international attitude, Purho is the expression of design: creating “fabulous objects”, that are able to stand in the space and last in time in a correct, magical and ultra-functional way.
Because the things that surround us, if beautiful throughout the time, will be able to open us up to new interior worlds.
Purho's first line De amore in vitro was designed by Karim Rashid and realized in Venice by Murano’s craft masters.

From “Karim Rashid” to Alessandro Mendini
The first true subject of the apple creativity activity of Karim Rashid is the project of himself, of his own physical appearance and of his own media aspect.
To Karim the whole world is a continuous system of stages thought and planned by him, according to the idea of a total art, of animism of forms. Extremely colored, fluo, shiny and mirrored, approaching pink and white.
His objective is to occupy/fill the spaces marking them with his digipop style, with his cabal and neo-psichedelic stylistic features, full of memories and evanescence. And also with his usual optimism.
Alchemy / Alchemia was thought for a globalized invasion of decorations, of a universal cosmetics that would be put on top of every object, every piece of furniture, every suit, every space and architecture on earth.
Everything happens within Karim’s obsessive need of creating utopic vision, that with its cosmetic attitude could occupy every possible place, space and surface with a twist sometimes optical sometimes ironical, along with a strong desire of psychic and psychoanalytic awesomeness.
