Our mission is to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships.
Based on a model founded in 1998 in Dallas, Texas, Project Transformation Indiana launched in 2017 to address three unique challenges with one program: 1) how to support the academic, physical, social-emotional, and spiritual development of children in underserved communities, 2) how to provide meaningful ways for college-age young adults to explore ministry opportunities and develop as young principled leaders for the church and the world; and 3) how to help revitalize churches in under-resourced neighborhoods.
We engage young adults in leadership and service through literacy-based summer programs for children.
Project Transformation’s faith-based summer internship program for young adults offers hands-on opportunities to build mutually enriching relationships with children, live in intentional community, experience cultural and socio-economic diversity, and explore various careers in ministry and service.
