Pittock Mansion, built by Portland pioneers Henry and Georgiana Pittock, is an architectural landmark that tells the story of the city's transformation from a small lumber town to a bustling city. Today, the nonprofit Pittock Mansion Society and Portland Parks and Recreation collaborate to operate the museum and the surrounding 46-acre park.
The mission of the Pittock Mansion Society is to inspire understanding and stewardship of Portland history through Pittock Mansion, its collection, and programs.
