Paws&Hearts Shelter Moldova

Who are we?! Our family is a member of the volunteering movement to save, protect and help homeless animals in the Republic of Moldova. With 29 years of experience behind us, we do our best to save as many animals in need as possible. Our shelter Our love for animals lead us to creating a small home type shelter for animals in need. Throughout time, the quantity of animals only grew. Currently, around 100 animals( cats, dogs and even a ferret)permanently reside in our shelter. These animals , for various reasons -blindness, mutilation, paralysis, mental disorders, chronic diseases , very young or advanced age..-can not continue living in the streets, and are in need of constant supervision. Our current goals are: Finding new homes for each animals that comes into our shelter. All of them have different stories and have been through a lot, but one thing they all have in common, the desire to be loved and live in a loving home. Waking up people’s consciousness towards stray animals and engaging them in meaningful problem solving. (adoption, donation, neutering, etc.) Sharing important information related to responsible care towards pets. Addressing protective services and getting their help in changing the current legislation regarding stray animals. Creating regulations that would solve the problem of homeless animals in Chisinau and other regions of Moldova. In order to do this, we have created multiple projects: Neutering, Virtual parent, Adoption, Save me, Fostering, Clean home, Volunteering.
