We would like a Perth & Kinross where all communities are inclusive and connected, and local people are helped to reach their potential - through an organisation that is driven by first-class front-line services, an in-touch and up-to-date understanding of the needs of communities, and continuous communication and integration with local services, organisations, and bodies.
In order to achieve our vision, PKAVS works across a number of key areas: Unpaid Carers; Mental Health & Wellbeing; Minority Communities; Third Sector development; and Volunteering.
Our greatest asset is our people. Through our almost 90 staff and over 150 volunteers, we are able to support the wellbeing of thousands of local people every year and help to ensure communities are strong, have a voice, and create positive impacts.
Through our diverse provision of services, we are a key partner to the local statutory sector, and with a turnover of over £2.2 million each year, we are able to leverage significant resources to deliver commissioned services, contributing to achieving the outcomes of the Perth & Kinross Community Plan.
