Out for Undergrad is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping high-achieving LGBTQ2+ undergraduates reach their full potential.
The organization hosts annual conferences: Out for Undergrad Business Conference (O4U Business), Out for Undergrad Digital Conference (O4U Digital), and Out for Undergrad Engineering Conference and Life Sciences Pilot (O4U Engineering + Life Sciences).
O4U’s conferences are designed to help LGBTQ2+ students develop as leaders and individuals. Through our proven curriculum, students are guided through the cultivation of industry-specific skills, work with mentors in their industry, and engage in discussions centered around being LGBTQ2+-identified in the workplace. The O4U conferences bring together the nation's most high-potential undergraduate leaders for a weekend of education, inspiration, community building, and career development.
Out for Undergrad began in 2004 as the Out for Undergrad Business Conference at Cornell University. The conference was geared towards LGBTQ2+ undergraduates interested in pursuing careers in management consulting and investment banking, two industries that have been historically perceived as less friendly to LGBTQ2+ students.
Out for Undergrad is run by an all-volunteer team of professionals and a national Board of Directors. The organization’s alumni number in the thousands and comprise a cohort of exceptional LGBTQ2+ professionals in impressive, diverse careers around the globe.
