Omid Foundation transforms women into powerful survivors, guiding them towards a future where they reclaim their strength, resilience, and autonomy. OMID was set up in 2004 to help marginalized adolescent girls and young women who are victims of sexual, physical or mental abuse; slavery; forced prostitution; forced labor; oppression; and institutional and domestic violence. our mission is to empower marginalized young girls and women in the Persian-speaking world by uplifting and strengthening their social, emotional, health, gender, and educational competencies. Through innovative programs focused on self-empowerment, therapeutic intervention, and education, we strive to help these resilient women overcome past traumas and rebuild their lives. We are dedicated to fostering equity, life skills, emotional intelligence, and community engagement within our target community, believing that every woman deserves a life free from violence, abuse, and trauma.
