About
The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence is a statewide nonprofit that recognizes and encourages academic excellence in Oklahoma's public schools.
Through its flagship Academic Awards Program, the foundation presents $175,000 annually to honor outstanding public school seniors as Academic All-Staters and exceptional educators as Medal for Excellence winners. These students and educators are honored at OFE's annual Academic Awards Celebration in May.
OFE also helps strengthen grassroots support for public schools through its Oklahoma School Foundations Network, which provides free training, resources and networking opportunities for new and established school foundations.
With its Boren Mentoring Initiative, OFE promotes the growth and development of quality youth mentoring programs statewide through grants for new and existing K-12 mentoring programs.
