North Hills Cares

North Hills Cares is a charitable organization, established in 2018, for the purpose of providing assistance to residents of the northern Pittsburgh communities who are in need. Our members and volunteers live in these communities. Many of our members have graduated from nearby school districts and/or have children who attend or graduated from them. We care about our communities and we want to make them a great place to live for all neighbors, regardless of our economic or cultural differences. Our goal is to initiate creative, sustainable solutions to problems faced in our community. In other words, rather than trying to solve every problem ourselves, we work to connect people with needs to others who want to help. Our Mission: Initiating creative and timely solutions to help families and children in need, while developing strategies and partnerships that lead to cost-effective and sustainable community programs.
