NES (formerly Innoblue), is Penn State's oldest entrepreneurship club.
Our mission is to educate, connect, and empower students interested in entrepreneurship. NES stands out by making consistent efforts to unify existing groups on campus and promote collaborative programming. We serve as a community for aspiring student entrepreneurs, providing them with valuable resources, support, and opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial skills and make a positive impact.
Established in April 2010 by two Penn Staters dedicated to starting and supporting innovative civic and social ventures by developing a non-profit startup accelerator and achieving 501(c)(3) status.
In 2018, our priority was to support student entrepreneurs through partnerships with the Happy Valley LaunchBox, Startup Week, and Global Entrepreneurship Week. We focused on idea generation through CodeBlue Workshops, where we introduced innovative technology at a high level by inviting experts and industry leaders to speak. We have continued to stay agile by allowing students across all disciplines to leverage our resources as a platform to create unique projects, startups, and ventures.
