Welcome to Narooma Rocks, the not-for-profit organisation which delivers the of the Narooma Oyster Festival.
The Festival is a celebration of the Rock Oyster and the dedicated growers who cultivate it. Held each year on the first weekend on May on the shores of Wagonga Inlet, the Festival injects an average of $3m into the local economy and attracts up to 10,000 visitors from across the South Coast, ACT, Sydney, regional NSW and Victoria.
We are passionate about elevating the profile of the Rock Oyster, a remarkable food and environmental hero which is in indigenous to Australia and almost exclusively to NSW. Their merroir is a symphony of season, region, and husbandry, making each one a unique discovery and the species a sought after luxury product.
