NCCK is an alliance of 27 churches and 17 christian organisations formed in 1913 to nurture a common understanding of the scriptures and enhance the creation of an equitable, just and sustainable society in Kenya. National Council of Churches of Kenya is a family of Christian communions and organisations. The Council works for the holistic development of all persons as guided by her motto: "For Wananchi" (For Citizens) The National Council of Churches of Kenya is a family of Christian communions and organizations registered in Kenya in fellowship and witness. There are three classes of membership Full Members Associate Members Fraternal Associate Members Currently, NCCK has 27 member churches, 11 Associate Members and 6 Fraternal Associate Members.
