PERSONAL and SOCIAL IMPACT
Our goal is to inspire and encourage Nepali youth from economically and socially challenged backgrounds (16-23) to become independent, self sufficient and mentally healthy young adults, so that they are the actors of change.
We aim to create self awareness among Nepali youth that everyone is born with a set of unique talents, strengths and special skills and bring them into connection with their inner truth and power.
Our vision is that all Nepali youth take the responsibility for their own life and become the main actors of their own future, in order to live a fulfilling life and make a positive impact on the Nepalese society as pro-active, responsible, resilient and compassionate young adults.
MyQuest Foundation (previous Mountain Child Care) is founded by the Dutch couple Mark Simons and Marianne van Wetter in 2011. Both have a passion for hiking and were inspired by the impact of nature and walking on a person's mental health. Their passion and drive to uplift others and create equal chances for all is found in their mission. They have touched many lives by their concept and personalities and keep on doing so.
