My Life, My Stories is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides unique opportunities for young adults and older adults to engage in meaningful conversation. Our vision at My Life, My Stories is to build relationships between the young and the old to create a more empathetic and connected community. We’re dedicated to helping underserved populations including people of color, immigrants, low income elders, the homeless, vets, and LGBTQ seniors.
Memoir making program: Every volunteer is personally matched with an older adult. Conversations between the senior author and volunteer are recorded, transcribed, edited, and printed in free hardcover books that our authors can share with friends and family
Intergenerational events: We host free or low-cost events that encourage people of all ages to come together to learn from one another.
