The Museum of Contemporary Art is in the process of reinventing itself as an itinerant museum.
We are currently dreaming up engaging art projects with artists and forming new partnerships and a program.
History
The Museum of Contemporary Art was established in 1991, born out of the Fluxus related festival Festival of Fantastics in the 1980s. The museum has historically supported the production of experimental, sound, and performance art, and has a small contemporary collection. In 2021, it became an itinerant museum, without a permanent exhibition building.
