Multicultural Community Family Services (MCFS) is a not-for-profit organization founded to provide social, educational and other support services for African immigrant and refugee children and families in Philadelphia and Delaware Counties.
The mission of MCFS is to empower diverse individuals, children, youth and families to gain a greater capacity to succeed in their communities.
MCFS fulfills its mission through the broad range of services offered by the agency.
- Educational and job readiness services are provided to youths ages 18 to 21 through our Preparing Older
Youths for Success (POYS) program.
- MCFS offers English as Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship Classes.
- Behavioral Health Services are offered through our Social Service Division.
- Recreational activities are provided to youths ages 4 to 17 through our Soccer Program.
- Non-Medical Home Care services are provided to the physically and intellectually disabled, older adults and
those who need temporary assistance with their activities of daily living through Attentive Home Care, a
division of Multicultural Community Family Services.
