Our Core Values: ALL people, regardless of their ability, have a God-ordained purpose for their lives and should have the opportunity to live as contributing members of society.
Our Mission: To provide Christ centered experiences for teens and adults with disabilities and their families through day programs, summer camps, educational resources, and opportunities supporting the special needs community.
Our Vision: To develop an inclusive residential community where special friends can continue to learn, work, and live as they are celebrated and empowered through their God-ordained abilities.
Our History: Mount Jubilee Ministries was established in 2005 in response to a defined interest from parents to provide a residential summer camp for youth within the special needs population in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. As a result of the passionate commitment of the core group of founders, Camp Jubilee hosted its first week of camp in the summer of 2005 with five campers and six volunteers. Over the following years, approximately 180 special friends, ranging in ages from 10 to 65, have participated in this exceptional summer camp experience. MJM launched His Path Developmental Day Program in December of 2019 in response to the need of post high school activities for the special needs community in Rockingham County. The success of this program is leading MJM to explore opportunities to expand into surrounding counties.
It is the conviction of the ministry that this population must have the opportunity to participate as members of society, without exception, to the fullest of their abilities.
The purpose of MJM is to partner with this special population by offering more than just a summer camp and day program. As the ministry has grown older, so have our friends, their parents and caregivers. It is our focus to begin expanding our opportunities to include more day programming, participant volunteer opportunities, supported employment and respite care.
