MobileMonday Germany 2008-2016 Some of brightest minds in mobile have made MobileMonday a powerful think tank for mobile service development in more than 70 countries. The global organization was one of the early decentralized organization. Germany hosted more than the mobile evangelists in 5 cities: Berlin, Duesseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich. How MobileMonday started? / Autumn 2000 the who is who of the wireless technology and mobile content and device industry met in a pub for an informal get-together on a Monday evening. After discussing the latest in device technology and mobile content, the group decided to continue meeting on the first Monday of each month. Towards the end of 2004, the mobile developers movement started to spread to other global mobile device technology hotspots of the world and new chapters were started in the innovation hubs like Tokyo, Japan, Silicon Valley, USA as well as Rome and Milan, Italy and took the movement to the digital media and mobile marketing communities.
