Since 1983 this group of volunteers has provided financial and physical support for the preservation, restoration, development and protection of the four Spanish Missions that comprise the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. Along with Mission Valero/The Alamo, these Missions were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site on July 5, 2015.
Formerly known as Los Compadres, Mission Heritage Partners continues to focus on raising public awareness, funding and enjoyment of the Missions. Our new name reflects the ongoing commitment to cooperative activities, and provides a clearer understanding of the goal to preserve the significant legacy the Missions represent to our region.
As the official non-profit partner of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, we present fun-filled family activities, hands-on history demonstrations, thought-provoking workshops and illuminating celebrations of our earliest residents. These events help us raise funds for special projects at the Park, and inspire future generations to carry our goals forward.
