The Making Scotland’s Future Conference will be held on Thursday 22 June at RBS Gogarburn, Edinburgh and is expected to bring together over 300 manufacturers from across Scotland.
The conference, previously known as the Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service (SMAS) National Manufacturing Conference, is Scotland’s most established manufacturing conference and is the highlight in the sectors calendar. It provides businesses with the ambition, vision, knowledge, tools and networks to increase productivity, embrace new opportunities and maintain future competitiveness.
The new ‘Making Scotland’s Future’ title is a deliberate rebranding in line with the Scottish Government’s partner-led national manufacturing strategy, Making Scotland’s Future. This partnership approach to the conference will raise awareness of the Making Scotland’s Future approach and key priorities set out in the strategy. Delegates on the day will also gain a better understanding of the collective support and networks available to manufacturing businesses via the Making Scotland’s Future partners.
