Meals-on-Wheels of White Plains delivers more than just food. We deliver some companionship to people who otherwise might be alone all day. We deliver independence to neighbors who are now able to stay in their own home. Any person living in the City of White Plains who is unable to shop for or prepare meals for themselves, regardless of age or income, is eligible to receive Meals-on-Wheels. Meals-on-Wheels of White Plains is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers with a commitment to delivering both food and compassion to our neighbors in need. Meals-on-Wheels of White Plains serves members of our community who are unable to shop or prepare adequate meals themselves. We deliver two delicious and nutritionally balanced meals for each weekday – one hot meal and one cold. A professional dietitian carefully plans our menu. Our goal is to bring each client a smile and meals that taste great, look pleasing, and meet their special health needs.
