Lucas County Prosecutor'S Office

The Adult Criminal division of the Lucas County Prosecutors Office prosecutes all adult felony cases, select misdemeanor crimes, and serious juvenile offender cases that have been certified to stand trial as an adult. Prosecutors in this division interview victims and witnesses, work closely with law enforcement, perform legal research and prepare all motions in each case until a resolution is reached or a trial is undertaken. The primary objective for prosecutors in this division is to seek fair and just resolutions that help to protect the public and give the court the opportunity to sentence serious offenders to prison.
