What: Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS (LSRFA) is a grassroots, participant-produced two-day bicycle rally to raise funds for three Tarrant and Dallas County AIDS service organizations. They are: AIDS Outreach Center (of Tarrant County), AIDS Services of Dallas, and Resource Center of Dallas. Lone Star Ride is a fully supported cycling event, including Pit Stops every 10-15 miles, SAG and sweep crews, massage, meals, medical and more. When / Where: Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, 2009. Lone Star Ride is a 165-mile two-day bike ride winding through North Texas on scenic suburban and country roads beginning, ending and overnight camping at the American Airlines Training & Conference Center. Overnight accommodation options include free tent camping or a room at the Conference Center for $25 (limit two persons per room). Overnight camp festivities include a catered barbecue feast and a fun and entertaining talent show.
