Established in 1956, Khamisani Sons started its operations from a small, rented room in a hotel. The late Abdul Quadir Khamisani (1935 – 1987) and his brother, the late Abdul Jabbar Khamisani (1937 – 2017) worked their way up as sub-agents, and within a decade, earned the distinction of being the only agency to simultaneously receive approval for both travel & cargo operations from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in 1966. In 1970, the late Abdul Quadir Khamisani became a founding member of the Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP); TAAP has since become a regulatory body for the travel industry in Pakistan. He was also involved in the formation of the Cargo Agents Association of Pakistan (CAAP). Having been in the travel business for the last 61 years, Khamisani Sons is a well reputed and respected name in the Aviation, Travel and Cargo industry.
