Junior Chamber International Kowloon, a charitable organisation founded in 1965, is a mixed gender English chapter affiliated to Junior Chamber International (JCI) through JCI Hong Kong. JCI is an international leadership development organisation with a worldwide membership of more than 200,000 in over 100 countries.
JCI has established partnerships with the United Nations, Pan American Health Organization, Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations, NGO Committee on UNICEF; International Chamber of Commerce, and World Chambers Federation the Council of Europe.
In Hong Kong, we have about 1,800 members representing a network of highly motivated and forward looking young men and women who are mostly entrepreneurs or executives from a wide range of trades and businesses. The members are between the age of 18-40 from 20 local chapters, who make full use of their leisure hours to work for the betterment of the community and themselves.
Our mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to make positive change. Our vision is to become the leading global network of young active citizens.
We aim to execute our mission and vision by initiating projects and training programs on developing young leaders. Through the unique platform of learning by doing offered by JCI, our members not only grow personally but also expand their networks and horizons.
