Innovation: Africa brings Israeli solar, water, and agricultural technologies to vulnerable communities across Africa.
Since its inception in 2008, Innovation: Africa has completed over 900+ solar and water installations, impacting over 4+ million people across 10 African countries.
Innovation: Africa uses solar energy to pump clean water from the aquifers to provide access to light and electricity for students to study and doctors to treat patients at night, as well as the use of computers and medical equipment in schools and medical centers.
Along with access to light and clean water, the organization empowers local communities by providing training and economic opportunity throughout its countries of operation, which include Uganda, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, South Africa, eSwatini, Ethiopia and Senegal.
Innovation: Africa ensures the sustainability and longevity of its projects by hiring local engineers and managers to oversee and monitor our projects. In addition, thanks to its Israeli-designed and UN-award-winning remote monitoring system, the organization's donors and teams are able to remotely monitor and track live each solar and water system and immediately address any issues that may occur.
