To provide services with dignity to those who are in need of food, shelter and other essentials.
Established in 1981, The Inn has long been a pillar of the community in Sarnia-Lambton. Many low-income residents depend on the services The Inn provides which include (but are not limited to) food bank, soup kitchen, rent/utility assistance, back-to-school kits and income tax filing.
The Good Shepherd’s Lodge is located on Confederation Street in Sarnia and has 25 emergency shelter beds and two family rooms. Also located at The Lodge is the transitional housing program, designed to help clients practice the skills they need to live on their own. Since the Coronavirus pandemic started in March 2020 The Lodge has been working closely with The County of Lambton to accommodate chronic homeless clients in emergency shelters around Sarnia.
The Haven is located on Kathleen Avenue in the south end of Sarnia and serves as a youth shelter. It’s a co-Ed shelter for young adults between the age of 16 and 21, funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and The County of Lambton. The Haven accommodates up to nine youth.
