India Cellular & Electronics Association (ICEA) is India’s apex industry body representing the entire mobile and electronics ecosystem. ICEA is working with the Government of India to help India achieve its vision of establishing a USD 300 billion electronics manufacturing ecosystem by 2025–2026.
Its members include Fortune 500 companies like brands, EMS companies, and technology providers across various electronics verticals.
The organisation has played a significant role in conceptualising the Phased Manufacturing Program (PMP) and the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for Mobile Phones. ICEA has also worked with industry and government stakeholders to encourage landmark schemes such as the Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC 2.0) Scheme and the Scheme for Promotion of Electronic Components Manufacturing and Semiconductors (SPECS).
The organisation is committed to enhancing design and R&D capabilities in India and making the country an export hub for various electronics hardware verticals.
ICEA is working with state governments and industry stakeholders to promote investment in India's ESDM ecosystem and establish a strong export-oriented approach.
