Ieee Sight Egypt

The IEEE Special Interest Group on Humanitarian Technology (SIGHT) is an IEEE program instituted by the IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee (HAC). IEEE is the world's largest technical professional organization for the advancement of technology. IEEE SIGHT is a global network of IEEE volunteers partnering with underserved communities and local organizations to leverage technology for sustainable development. SIGHT functions as an HAC subcommittee, and the two Committees operate in tandem to encourage humanitarian technology events. IEEE SIGHT Egypt is a local network of individuals - IEEE members and volunteers in addition to non-IEEE participants, who address the challenges they identify in Egypt by applying their technical engineering skills and partnering with their local communities.
