The IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) Student Branch Chapter at General Sir John Kothalawala Defence University (KDU) is dedicated to advancing Engineering in Medicine and Biology and its impact on healthcare. It aims to bridge various engineering disciplines, such as Chemical, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Materials, and Electronic Engineering, to address biomedical challenges in Sri Lanka.
