As the voice of the Israel Defense Forces, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit is responsible for the IDF's communications to global and domestic audiences via traditional and social media. The IDF Spokesperson's Unit is the 24/7 point of contact for international and domestic correspondents seeking access to and comment from the IDF. The Unit also manages the IDF's multi-platform presence on social media in seven languages (Hebrew, English, Arabic, Persian, Spanish, French and Russian), reaching millions of people online across the world.
