HootaThon is a year-round student organization at Temple University that raises funds and awareness for the Child Life Department at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Each spring, our year long efforts culminate into a 12-Hour Dance Marathon through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. HootaThon allows students to understand the value of service while working throughout the year to raise money for The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, with the ultimate goal of allowing kids to be kids. HootaThon hopes to unite students, faculty, staff and the community as a whole for one great cause.
In February 2017, we raised $404,074.85, becoming the fastest growing Miracle Network Dance Marathon in the country!
