OUR MISSION: We help Midland County Residents in need sustain stable housing through education, advocacy and support services, promoting self-sufficiency.
OUR VISION: A community with safe, stable housing for all.
OUR PROGRAMS:
Furniture Program- We accept new and gently used furniture donations here at Home To Stay Housing Assistance Center. With those donations, we are able to assist those in Midland County who have a need for furniture. If you or someone you know would like to donate, you can drop the items off anytime during business hours (M-Th 8-5pm, F 8-4pm) or you can contact our office to arrange for a pick-up. Pick-up's occur every Saturday from 9-Noon. Please limit donations to only gently used or unused items.
Home Repair Program- Our agency assists with accessibility modifications such as ramps and grab bars and minor home repairs in the Midland area.
Homeless Prevention- This program is in place to assist those who are either homeless or in danger of becoming homeless. Our Housing Resource Specialists work with clients on a housing plan (goals and steps to complete these goals) that is necessary for the client to become stably and safely housed. If we are unable to assist or if someone does not qualify, we always try to offer any resources or referrals to local agencies that may be beneficial for them.
***Ways you can get involved:***
Volunteer! We are always looking for volunteers to help with ramp building/installation, furniture pick up, and more.
Donate! New or gently used furniture. Our high need items include beds, dressers, couches, washers, and dryers. We also accept cash, check, and credit card donations to aid in operational costs.
