HMTL is a student organization that serves as a forum for students of Environmental Engineering to work, learn, and develop the existing potential in line with formal education in Environmental Engineering Studies Program in ITB. HMTL has a symbol and in the symbol there is a certain meaning related to the scientific field of Environmental Engineering. Kalpataru tree on the symbol symbolizes the environment. The thick black lines above and below represent T and L. Five lines on the left and on the right illustrate the existing sub majors of water, air, environmental management, health, and solid waste. Blue waves symbolize water. The picture of Ganesha in the lower left corner represents ITB.
