Het HEM is a home for contemporary culture based in a former munition factory. Located on the outskirts of Amsterdam, bordering nature and industry, Het HEM is developing into a destination where you can recharge yourself with stories, art, good food and drinks. We believe that art is an essential part of society: it helps us to understand the world and forge new connections between people. Our programming is aimed at breaking down borders and creatively stimulate new perspectives and communities.
