The Haemophilia Foundation of New Zealand Inc. (HFNZ) was established in 1958 to serve the needs of people with haemophilia and other related bleeding disorders. HFNZ is a National Member Organisation of the World Federation of Hemophilia. Its aims are:
- to provide support for people with haemophilia and related bleeding disorders and their families/whanau
- to educate families, health professionals and other key stakeholders
- to maintain a high standard of treatment of haemophilia and related bleeding disorders throughout New Zealand
- to be a representive the haemophilia population at a government level and to health services providers
- to be a responsible member of the global haemophilia community.
