Habitat St. Charles is a non-profit ecumenical Christian housing ministry and an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, building homes and creating partnerships with hardworking, deserving families who reside in St. Charles County, MO.
We build simple, decent, affordable homes and partner with families who would otherwise not qualify for a conventional home loan.
Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County has been active within the community since 1996, started by St. Charles volunteers and supported by our community sponsors.
We have completed over 89 homes in 23 years and helped over 250 family members begin a new life as homeowners and members of our community, rooted in their neighborhoods. As we look forward, we want to thank our sponsors and volunteers and ask our community of St. Charles county to join us and help give "a hand up, not a hand out" to local families by helping them build and purchase their home.
We opened our ReStore in 2007, and have recycled over 3,000 tons of building materials. We relocated the Habitat St. Charles ReStore in 2014 to 186 Mid Rivers Center, St. Peters, MO 63376. Sales from the ReStore help support our mission of building simple, decent, affordable homes in St. Charles County.
