The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1947 and is the largest of 25 chambers in the five-county Southwest Florida region, recognized as among the best of the 300 chambers in Florida. The Chamber's primary purpose is to foster business advancement and advocate effective government policy to ensure a healthy business climate.
Today, the Chamber is the largest nonprofit advocate for the Collier County business community. With more than 1,400 members representing 50,000 employees, the Chamber is actively involved in local government, regional economic development and providing valuable resources to its members.
The Chamber manages the Visitor Information Center, staffed by over 50 volunteers who receive over 70,000 international and U.S guests and coordinate hospitality information at the seven information centers throughout the county.
The Chamber's membership retention rate is 86%, reflecting the strong affiliation that members have for The Chamber's impact in supporting their business growth and increasing their networking opportunities.
