The German-Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence (GCAAI, in German "Deutsch-Chinesischer Verein zur künstlichen Intelligenz") is a cross-cultural association for exchange and networking on the arising field of artificial intelligence. Among its members, there are students of computer vision, machine learning, data mining, instructors for information technology and professionals working in related fields. GCAAI is based in Berlin and multi-lingual in Chinese, German and English language. Its activities are dedicated to foster professional exchange on mainstream AI topics (e.g., deep learning, computer vision, NLP) as well as novel crosscutting work in the industry.
To increase the exchange between professionals in both parts of the world, GCAAI conducts seminars and excursions. It aims to improve the understanding on technological aspects of artificial intelligence as well as to discuss economical and social consequences of the technology.
GCAAI also provides online platforms for discussion and to connect professionals in both parts of the world. Our WeChat channel hosts lively exchanges with more than 400 members. Additionally, members of GCAAI aim to share their experiences and to offer help and advice for students for internships or professionals looking for jobs.
