Gv Založba (Ius Software)

GV Založba has been the leading legal publisher in Slovenia for many years. It was originally established as a division of the company Gospodarski vestnik and became a separate legal entity in 2001. Over this period it expanded its activities from publishing four titles a year to publishing over 50 titles and six periodicals a year and rose from five employees to 24. GV Založba is a publisher of books in the areas of law (85 percent), economics, management and PR, and organiser of legal events in Slovenia. Its long-lasting relationships with the leading Slovenian legal academics and practitioners give its publications an authoritative status in the Slovenian legal community. GV Založba’s core activities and/or products can be broken down as follows: − The publication of legal and business books; − The co-organisation of the annual Dnevi slovenskih pravnikov (Slovenian Jurists’ Days) event, the leading Slovenian jurists’ convention; − The organisation of trainings and other events; − The publication of Pravna praksa, the only Slovenian weekly legal publication; and − The publication of other legal periodicals (Podjetje in delo (i. e. Company and Labour), Pravnik (i.e. Jurist), Zbornik znanstvenih razprav and Pravni letopis).
