Funding for All provides free, expert fundraising advice to Kent and Medway’s voluntary sector.
We believe small charities, community groups, voluntary organisation and social enterprises have a huge part to play in the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of the people in their area. These groups are value driven, motivated by social goals, and have a closeness to and understanding of the needs of their service users and communities. They deliver excellent services, often delivering outcomes that the public sector finds it hard to achieve.
By providing our specialist support, we inspire and empower not-for-profit organisations within Kent and Medway to build their fundraising capacity, ensure a sustainable future and in turn, reach even more beneficiaries.
Since launching in 2012, we have supported nearly 700 Kent and Medway charities, community groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises by developing their skills in:
• writing bid/grant applications;
• income generation;
• fundraising (individual, trusts and foundations, digital, corporate);
• claiming Gift Aid;
• impact measurement;
• fundraising strategy;
• marketing and communications; and
• legacy programmes.
Through our mentoring programme, over £7 million in funding has been secured for the county.
All of this would not be possible without the generous support of our funders (The National Lottery Community Fund, Kent County Council and Fidelity UK Foundation) who see how vital infrastructure support charities like ourselves are for the sector. Thanks to them, we are able to offer our services completely free of charge.
