The Friends of the Paragon Carousel, Inc. aims to preserve the historic Paragon Carousel at its current location and restore it to its original beauty to enrich our community, our lives, and benefit others for generations. Located on Nantasket Beach in the beautiful seaside town of Hull, Massachusetts, the Paragon Carousel is the last remaining attraction from the beloved Paragon Park amusement park, built in 1905. The Carousel has been operating for more than 80 years and boasts the original sixty-six carved wooden horses and two rare Roman chariots. One of less than a hundred remaining grand carousels in the United States, the Paragon Carousel has a long, rich history in Hull.
Our long-term vision is to be a financially secure and self-sustaining operation through financial discipline, sound business practice, and a rich volunteer base. We strive to offer a vibrant community experience providing an atmosphere where the majesty of history and artistry meet the world of fantasy and fun, creating lasting memories for all who enter the Carousel’s doors!
