Flower Effect

Flower Effect seeks to cultivate community healing through addressing complex trauma and acknowledging the connection between trauma and community violence. Our work aims to create opportunities for individuals and organizations to sow the seeds of radical transformation in their lives and workplaces. We are designing creative and engaging relationship-building opportunities. We hope to co-create truly non-hierarchical and decolonized learning and practice spaces rooted in community and connection, spaces that can sustain an environment ripe for accountability and transformation. For the Community we offer: -Community & Youth Peacemaking Training Curriculum to increase community-level capacity to intervene in violence without dependence on law enforcement -Community Healing Events -Workshops & Trainings For Individuals, Groups, and Organizations we currently offer: -Individual Coaching -Group Coaching -Strategic Visioning & Technical Assistance -Organizational Assessments & Equity Evaluations -Curriculum Development -Mediation & Conflict Transformation including but not limited to small-group mediation, truth and reconciliation circles, organizational conflict mediation -Training and Workshop Facilitation -Speaking Engagements Utilizing innovative community-led strategies, we provide opportunities for people to create positive individual and community change that will challenge systemic inequalities and build community. Integrating transformative justice principles, we confront the negative impact of the systems of oppression: creating space for healing and accountability.
