Finnish Red Cross is the one of the largest civic organizations in Finland. Our objective is to help those who need it most both in Finland and abroad.
Red Cross helps when a catastrophe or an accident occurs and trains people to be prepared. The organization encourages people to look after their own well-being and to take care of each other.
Finnish Red Cross (FRC) is a part of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, which is one of the biggest and well-known international organization in the world on the field of humanitarian aid.
The organizational structure has three layers: local branches, districts, and the national headquarter. There are 12 districts and more than 400 local branches around Finland. The General Secretary is Eero Rämö.
