Fight Parkinson’s (the new name of Parkinson’s Victoria) is a leading Parkinson's support organisation with a comprehensive health information service, education program and active research and advocacy agenda.
We were the first Parkinson’s organisation in Australia to adopt and invest in a best-practice multidisciplinary model of care and employ a highly skilled team of allied health professionals to provide information and support services to the Parkinson’s and Atypical Parkinson’s (PSP, MSA, CBS) community in Victoria as well as education programs nationally.
Our evidence-based health education programs and seminars are delivered to people living with Parkinson’s, Young Onset Parkinson’s, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and Corticobasal Syndrome (CBS), as well as aged care and healthcare professionals.
By building knowledge about these conditions, we can reduce stigma, and spread awareness about these conditions and their impact on people’s lives.
Through education, we empower people to seek and use the best strategies, treatments, and therapies to live well with Parkinson’s, PSP, MSA and CBS.
