Fierté Dans La Capital(E) Pride

Unity, love, and an ability to trust in the bonds of support shared with one another have always been some of the greatest strengths of the LGBTTQ community. These relationships are what helped turn individual struggles into a global social movement for equality and social justice, and they remain as crucial for us today as they were in decades past. This year, we want to commemorate how far this community has come together, and reaffirm our trust in all that this community can do, when unified as one. It is our pleasure, on behalf of Fierté dans la Capital(e) Pride, to invite everyone to please join us from August 17th to the 23rd in celebrating 30 years together! From its very inception, the new Capital Pride organization has sought to reflect the multifaceted experiences and perspectives which exist within the LGBTTQ community. It has been the goal to the Fierté Captial(e) Pride organization to acknowledge the rich tapestry that makes up this complex community both in Ottawa and beyond. Separately, each facet of our community is only a single thread; together we are a banner worth waving proudly.
