Fsc Belgium

FSC Belgium is the Belgian office of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), a global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide. Our role in Belgium is to provide information on the FSC system to a wide range of target groups (governments, companies, consumers ...) and promote the choice for FSC labelled wood and paper products as widely as possible. We provide information to timber, building, paper, packaging ... companies on how to achieve FSC Chain of Custody certification and we also work on FSC forest certification in Belgian forests. FSC's vision The world’s forests meet the social, ecological and economic rights and needs of the present generation without compromising those of future generations. FSC's mission The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) shall promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world’s forests.
