The European Forensic Institute (EFI) is the result of a project born in 2011 between industry experts and university professors specialised in criminalistics and criminology.
The Institute’s organisation is inspired by the model of the major Anglo-Saxon companies in the industry and operates in many fields of forensic science, from pure criminalistics to human sciences, to security and intelligence.
Education and scientific research are at the core of the Institute. In education, the School of Criminalistics stands out. In addition to being staffed by nationally and internationally renowned teachers with top-level teaching, it offers students the opportunity to learn directly on the field by assisting experts in their professional activities. Additionally, distinctive graduates who excelled during the course of the programme are selected by the Institute to join their specialised teams.
The European Forensic Institute is accredited by the Malta Further & Higher Education Authority with the License no. 2018-014.
