EquaLearn Foundation is a youth run non-profit organization that aims to achieve a future where every child has an equal chance at the best education. The organization strives to achieve this by offering free tutorship to those eligible. Its tutoring program provides one-on-one guidance with scheduling that is flexible to the needs of the client. Currently, EquaLearn works together with many other organizations including Youth Central, the Calgary Immigrant Educational Society, and the Ethno-Cultural Council of Calgary in order to make a positive difference in the city of Calgary. As one of its most important values, the organization prioritizes the involvement of youth to help other youth in their community. In this way, it endeavors to show young individuals the many ways their actions can positively impact society and influence it for the better. EquaLearn Foundation's members are also unified under the belief that children should be given equal opportunities to a good education regardless of financial standing, race, ethnicity, gender, or other such factors. Through its services, EquaLearn Foundation hopes to work towards its mission of providing children of low-income or immigrant families with an optimal learning environment.
